Über den Job

Working under the direct supervision of the Public Affairs Officer (PAO), the Public Engagement Assistant serves with no supervisory responsibilities. This position is the lead Local Employee (LE) Staff strategist and advisor for Mission Switzerland's Public Diplomacy (PD) engagement with Established Opinion Leaders (EOL) — a broad category that includes influential individuals and institutions such as think tanks, labor unions, professional associations, civil society organizations, prominent academics, and professional training institutions.

Aufgaben

Designs, plans, and implements engagement strategies and activities across virtual, physical, and communications spaces to advance foreign policy objectives
Manages Mission exchange programs for EOL audiences
Maintains contact with program alumni
Formulates PD strategies to advance accurate narratives about the United States, counter misinformation, and promote understanding of and support for policy
Aligns all activities with the Mission's Integrated Country Strategy (ICS) goals
Serves as the lead Local Employee (LE) Staff strategist and advisor for Mission Switzerland's Public Diplomacy (PD) engagement with Established Opinion Leaders (EOL)
