Assisting citizens in Switzerland and Liechtenstein with mental health, medical issues, homelessness, destitution, or crime victimization
Liaising with local authorities, law enforcement, funeral homes, and prisons
Communicating complex and sensitive information to citizens and their families
Providing guidance to individuals in distressed states
Connecting individuals with social service resources
Handling death cases and processing Consular Reports of Death
Managing family and child custody matters
Providing voting assistance
Maintaining precise record keeping for all incoming cases
Maintaining and continuously expanding network of contacts with local authorities and service providers
Organizing networking events (luncheons, roundtables, receptions, outreach trips, town halls)
Preparing notarial services
Assisting with passport and citizenship services
Participating in Crisis Management team for crisis preparedness and response

Ability to efficiently self-manage multiple duties and responsibilities in a complex position

Location: Bern, Switzerland; serves Switzerland and Liechtenstein
Reports to: ACS Locally Employed Staff Supervisor
