Business Operations & Finance Lead (60–100%)

The role You will be the financial and operational engine of a lean, fast-moving agency. Beyond keeping things running, you will bring analytical rigor to business performance: tracking budgets, monitoring project margins, and giving leadership the clarity they need to make sharp decisions. Think business controller with a strong operational dimension. You ensure not only visibility, but also execution discipline across projects and financial processes.

• Ensure governance and internal processes are consistently applied across projects and operations
• 5–10 years of experience in business controlling, operations, finance, or a similar role, ideally in an agency, consulting, or project-based environment
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable structuring data, tracking performance, and translating numbers into actionable insights
• Solid financial understanding: budgeting, margin analysis, cash flow tracking, invoicing
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution oriented. You make things happen without overcomplicating them
• Structured and rigorous when needed, but never purely administrative
• High ownership, accountability, and comfort in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Able to move fluidly between operational detail and strategic big picture
