In the AIR division at RUAG, we are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modernization of all fighter jets of the Swiss Air Force. As an aircraft technician you will make a crucial contribution to the safety and operational readiness of the entire fleet and thus our own country.

Aufgaben

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on F/A-18 and future military aircrafts
Carry out inspections, functional checks and testing in accordance with technical documentation
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems
Execute technical modifications and change orders
Participate in aircraft preparation and return-to-service activities
Ensure proper traceability of completed work and maintain maintenance documentation
Actively contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement within maintenance operations

Profil

Completed vocational training in a (electro-)technical field (Polymechanic, Automation technician, Electromechanical technician or comparable)
Strong interest in aviation and complex technical systems
Good (technical) English skills a prerequisite (or strong motivation to improve this competence)
Good command of either French or German; knowledge of a second national language is considered as plus
Category B driving licence
Reliable, precise and team-oriented personality with a strong sense of responsibility
Swiss citizenship (due to military/air force related function)
Optional but highly advantageous: previous aviatic and/or military jet related experiences (EASA Part-66 modules, B1/B2 licenses, SAP or other IT-management systems)
