To support the growth of our Software Development Department in Zürich, we are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (m/f) 80–100%CloudEngineer – China Platform Specialist To support the expansion of our cloud platform and AI-powered applications in the Chinese market, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Alibaba Cloud. You will join our interdisciplinary Platform Team and help design, implement, and operate cloud-native services for customers in China while contributing to our broader cloud platform strategy. This is a hands-on engineering role. We are looking for someone with practical experience running production cloud applications in China and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and operational excellence. Your tasks As a Cloud Engineer – China Platform Specialist, you will: Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud solutions on Alibaba Cloud Support the deployment and operation of customer-facing cloud applications in the Chinese market Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern automation frameworks Design and implement secure cloud architectures and operational practices Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and platform services Collaborate with platform engineers to support future multi-cloud strategies across Alibaba Cloud and AWS Contribute to monitoring, logging, observability, and operational excellence initiatives Support containerized workloads and cloud-native application architectures Act as an internal expert for the Chinese cloud ecosystem and regional cloud requirements Work closely with product teams and platform colleagues in a SCRUM-based setup
