ID Quantique (IDQ) as part of IONQ is a global leader in quantum-safe communications and quantum detection systems, protecting governments, telecommunication infrastructures, and banking & financial institutions from the "harvest-now, decrypt-later" threat. We are looking for a Production Test Technician to join our Production Team based in Geneva, helping IonQ build the world's leading quantum computing platforms.

Aufgaben

Testing and characterisation of Superconducting Nanowire Single-Photon Detectors (SNSPDs) in accordance with established procedures and quality requirements
Identify and troubleshoot testing anomalies and accurately document results to ensure full operational traceability
Operate and maintain cryogenic systems, including filling and emptying of cryostats
Maintain accurate inventory and traceability records, managing detector inventory and ensuring accurate tracking of components and materials
Collaborate with engineers, technicians and the wider production team to support manufacturing activities, continuous process improvements and the delivery of high-quality products

Profil

A Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Physics, Engineering or a related discipline is considered an advantage
1-3 years previous experience in a testing, laboratory or production environment
Experience working with cryogenic systems is highly desirable
Excellent attention to detail, reliability and the ability to follow precise procedures
A collaborative approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
