At 1800m above sea level in the Engadin valley, Luxury Kulm Group creates culinary experiences at 16 GaultMillau points level. We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to act as the trusted right hand to our Executive Chef, leading a highly skilled brigade and delivering excellence to every plate.

Aufgaben

Executive Right Hand: Supporting the Executive Chef in daily organization, planning, menu creation, and brigade leadership
Deputising Leadership: Serving as the Executive Chef's primary deputy in their absence—taking full operational ownership with confidence and authority
Operational Excellence: Shared responsibility for smooth kitchen operations across all services—from extensive breakfast offerings to fine dining and gala dinners
Quality Assurance: Ensuring the highest presentation and flavor standards—your eye for detail guarantees a 16-point experience for every guest
Hygiene & Efficiency: Maintaining strict HACCP and safety standards, as well as responsible food cost and equipment management
Mentorship & Culture: Inspiring, guiding, and developing Commis de Cuisine and Chefs de Partie within a respectful, high-performing environment

Profil

Completed professional culinary training (EFZ or international equivalent)
Proven track record with several years of experience in senior positions (experienced Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef) within high-end gourmet gastronomy or a 5-star hotel setting (ideally at 15+ GaultMillau / Michelin star level)
Strong leadership skills, high stress tolerance, cost awareness, and ability to motivate a large brigade under pressure
Passion for premium produce, precision techniques, and continuous culinary innovation
Fluent in Italian, paired with good knowledge of English or German
