Why start with us?

Diversity is our culture. To build the best team, we want to draw from the full spectrum of talent out there. This means people from all walks of life have the same opportunities with us, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation or age. We believe true inclusion means everyone is welcome and each contribution is valuable.

• Hands-on execution is at the core of what you do: designing, building, and shipping code across the full stack, from frontend to backend
• You build and maintain the web-facing interfaces and APIs the mobile apps rely on, and support the integration of the web application into the native apps via WebViews
• The technical reliability of the push-notification module falls under your care, ensuring the backend can deliver all the pushes the apps need
• Coordinating the development of native features for iOS and Android happens in close alignment with the feature teams involved, including clarifying dependencies and interfaces
• Coaching software engineers comes naturally to you, backed by the interpersonal skills to explain complex topics and concepts clearly
• A strong track record as a hands-on software engineer, deeply involved in designing and building complex solutions day to day
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (ETH/university/university of applied sciences), or equivalent relevant work experience
• Proven experience (5 years+) in classic fullstack web development, both frontend (ideally React/TypeScript) and backend (ideally .NET/C#). Experience with GraphQL, MongoDB, and mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) is a plus
• Ideally, some experience with the end-to-end lifecycle of mobile apps (Android & iOS) or the motivation and initiative to grow into this area
• A willingness to challenge «how things have always been done» and propose more efficient, automated or effective solutions
• Using creativity and initiative to solve problems and achieve goals
• Fluent English (working language); good German is a plus
• Values, not empty words: Cooperative, innovative, piratesque, responsible, ambitious – these five values are what we practise and preach.
