EHL's dynamic campuses form a unique network where passionate students, academics and industry experts from over 120 countries come together to develop and disseminate hospitality knowledge. The Academic Office department is responsible for fostering an environment of academic excellence and integrity across the EHL Group, overseeing academic governance, compliance, faculty affairs, research strategy and institutional relations. The Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs supports the Chief Academic Officer in the strategic oversight and quality assurance of EHL HBS faculty affairs, facilitating faculty support and development across the EHL Group.

Aufgaben

Develop and implement strategies to foster excellence and innovation in teaching and learning across the EHL Group
Lead the Centre of Teaching & Learning Excellence, providing centralized and personalized faculty development programs in pedagogy, EdTech, and research
Drive pedagogical and EdTech foresight, introducing innovative teaching practices and tools to inspire faculty and enhance learning
Organize faculty-focused events and collaborations with external experts to promote networking and teaching excellence
Engage internal and external stakeholders to strengthen EHL's reputation nationally and internationally in teaching and learning
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making for faculty affairs, ensuring alignment and synergies across departments and educational tools
Advocate EHL values, inclusivity, diversity, and continuous improvement, promoting pedagogical innovation and adaptive teaching methods
Showcase faculty achievements and outcomes through communication channels to enhance institutional visibility and impact
Strategic development and quality assurance processes related to recruitment, incentivization, and professional growth of faculty members
In collaboration with other Associate Deans, advance faculty performance, engagement, and well-being
Lead initiatives that strengthen institutional values and drive EHL's strategy, mission, and vision

Profil

PhD or equivalent degree and rank of Associate or Full Professor in management and/or hospitality
10 years of experience in academic environment with 5 years in a similar role
Experienced leader with strong team-building and people management skills
Expertise in faculty affairs, development, and policymaking within higher education
Experience in strategic planning, decision-making, and setting up teaching and learning initiatives
Skilled in overseeing faculty recruitment, performance evaluations, mentoring, and budgeting processes
Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with adaptability and time management across multiple projects
Deep understanding of Swiss and international higher education landscapes and policies
Fluent in English and French (C1)
Alignment with leadership principles: transparency, accountability, collaboration, care, and experimentation
