As part of the Project Management Chapter, the Global Project Manager (GPM) plays a key role in optimized product delivery, accountable for all project management aspects of various projects. The GPM takes projects/products from original concept through completion by developing and directing detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, spending and resource plans. As a trusted advisor, the GPM translates and drives projects into products while enabling the organization to respond effectively to changing business needs across the portfolio.

Aufgaben

Sets up and implements project/program/product structures for product development and care activities
Creates, coordinates, and maintains integrated project plans including dependencies, resources, and budgets
Accountable for quality implementation including project risk management, critical path analysis, scenario creation and analysis, budget management, and robust planning
Executes project management processes including guiding preparation for milestone reviews and capacity reviews
Leads improvement initiatives and fosters continuous improvement through sharing best practices
Selects project methodology and applies agile methods as appropriate
Coaches and guides teams in project methodology including agile practices
Works in hybrid Agile role combining Agile methods with non-Agile techniques as needed
Manages meetings and knowledge sharing between project/product teams to enhance effectiveness
Establishes positive project/product team dynamics through team building
Establishes, measures, and reports KPIs, metrics, OKRs, and Outcome Based Planning key results
Acts as trusted advisor on planning, risk management, scenario creation, and critical path analysis
Single point of contact and control for project and program data
Identifies project risks and describes implications for budget, timeline, and scope
Identifies gaps, potential bottlenecks, delays, and proposes solutions to keep projects on track
Communicates issues proactively to stakeholders
Manages project/product team information to support decision-making and scenario analysis
Acts as Agile Program Manager as defined by Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) where applicable
Works closely with Sub-Chapter Leads, Network Leads, Functional Partners, Finance, Portfolio Management, and Analytics
Coaches team members and peers, develops new skills, and provides constructive feedback

Profil

Academic degree (minimum Bachelor's) in technical or natural sciences field
Proven experience in Assay Development with Software Engineering background
Minimum 3-5 years hands-on project management experience (up to 15 years welcome)
Solid expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (SAFe / Hybrid)
Proficiency with project management tools: Azure DevOps, Monday, Planisware
Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
German language skills are a plus
Strong organizational skills
Excellent stakeholder communication abilities
