Private owned aviation group of companies seeking an experienced Event Manager (m/f, 100%) for their headquarters in Basel downtown. Multifaceted, challenging position within a niche industry.

Aufgaben

Creating Briefing Definitions
Planning, organizing and realization of trade fairs and events, collection of costs and negotiation of costs
Report all activities to the Marketing Manager (direct line supervisor)
Managing and coordinating portfolio of event materials, digital content, decoration and technology
Giving feedback to stand builders for future improvements
Liaise and cooperate with internal departments such as sales as well as external agencies and exhibition stand builders at regional and international level
Liaise, coordinate and manage show travels and communications of colleagues to Corporate Jet and organizers
Coordinate, manage and build up the Christmas Party Event at the end of every year
Continuous optimization of planning and organizational processes
Regular preparation of reports
Collaboration in writing texts and designing presentations and other marketing resources

Profil

Completed education or studies in marketing and event management
5+ years of experience in an event specialist role and conception and organization of simple to complex events and trade fairs
Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
Well-groomed and convincing appearance
Team player, calm and flexible in hectic moments
Proficient in writing texts in English and German
Good command of PowerPoint and Excel
