Degree in engineering discipline

3–5 years in Operations & Maintenance experience in a live MNO Core Network

Hands-on experience in mobile Core Network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Understanding of 3G/4G Core Network architecture and signaling

Familiarity with one or more of HSS/HLR, DRA, STP, GTT/GT Translation, SMSC, IMS/VoLTE, PGW, PCRF or International Roaming

Basic understanding of SS7/MAP, Diameter, SMPP, SIP, and/or GTP

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Highly motivated, willing to work hard and be rewarded for it

Organized, won't stop until the job is "solved forever"

Attitude and aptitude are key; these traits trump all others

Preferred: Experience in live MNO or telecommunications environment

Preferred: Hands-on experience with Wireshark, packet analysis, Linux, Python, or Bash

Preferred: Exposure to multi-vendor Core Network environments

Preferred: IMS experience
