Aufgaben

Lead the Finance & Controlling department, managing 2 direct reports (1 manager accounting, 1 business controller) and 4 indirect reports (liabilities & receivables)
Serve as a member of the Board of Linde Gas Switzerland and report to the Executive Director Finance, Region South West
Own and oversee statutory and consolidated financial reporting (IFRS/US GAAP), ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and manage all tax and risk-related matters
Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, monitor and analyze business performance, and identify and implement measures to improve financial outcomes
Ensure the company's liquidity by managing planning and necessary financing measures
Actively participate in the digitalization and automation of processes and contribute to the company's digital transformation

Profil

Bachelor's or Master's degree with further training in accounting, controlling, finance & accounting, or business administration
More than 5 years of managerial experience in a controlling or similar role (FP&A, Business Finance)
Strong understanding of US GAAP and Swiss GAAP requirements for reporting, combined with experience in budgeting and forecasting
Very strong Excel skills and confident use of ERP systems, ideally SAP
Ability to structure and leverage unstructured data, from extraction and cleaning through to analysis and presentation
Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate insights into concrete recommendations for action
Fluency in English and German is a must; French language skills are an advantage
Openness to new challenges and strong motivation to contribute actively to the company's digital transformation
