For our plant in Wiler bei Utzenstorf, we are looking for a service-oriented, proactive, and reliable ASU Industrial Electrician (m/f/d, 100%) focused on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring continuous plant reliability.

Aufgaben

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems, motor control centers (MCC), power distribution, and auxiliary plant equipment
Calibrate, inspect, and maintain instrumentation, sensors, control valves, transmitters, and analytical gas measurement systems (analyzing oxygen, nitrogen, and argon purity)
Perform diagnostics, fault-finding, and small software/hardware modifications on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) under the guidance of our engineering experts
Ensure all on-site installations comply with Swiss electrical regulations (NIV, ESTI); participate in periodic internal safety audits and technical inspections
Coordinate on-site electrical modifications, commissioning of new systems, and collaborate during major turnaround plant revisions
Participate in the local on-call rotation (approx. 6–8 weeks per year) to handle emergency electrical troubleshooting

Profil

Completed vocational training (EFZ) as an automation technician, electrical fitter, electrical installer, or network electrician (or equivalent technical qualification)
Swiss operating electrician authorization according to Art. 13 NIV (Betriebselektriker-Bewilligung) is highly desired, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain it promptly
Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial setting, ideally in chemical processing, oil & gas, or process automation
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and process instrumentation; experience with PLCs and DCS systems is a strong advantage
English is a MUST; German is a strong PLUS
Self-reliant, analytical, highly safety-conscious, resilient, and an effective team communicator
