We are looking for generalists who are not afraid to try new things. You will contribute to the development of investment strategy with focus on the European infrastructure market, supporting investment opportunity analysis and M&A processes.

Aufgaben

Contribute to the development of investment strategy with distinct focus on the European infrastructure market
Support analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities based on risk/return criteria and management of M&A/Due Diligence processes (financing, legal, risk, ESG)
Prepare Investment Committee and Board related documents
Monitor existing investments against relevant performance measures and risk limits, and act as the main point of contact for relevant stakeholders (financial institutions and shareholders)
Partially responsible for interdisciplinary tasks relating to group business planning, financing, treasury and Investor Relations

Profil

Master's degree in relevant field of study (economics, business administration/management & finance)
3 to 5 years professional experience in investment banking, deal advisory ("Big 4"), private equity or corporate M&A
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially financial modelling in Excel)
Strong team player and skilled communicator
Entrepreneurial thinking, personal drive and "getting things done" attitude
Strong results orientation and focus on implementation, ability to work towards tight deadlines
Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
Experience in infrastructure industry or portfolio management is an advantage
Strong knowledge of investment and valuation; practical experience in Investment Management is an advantage
