As an Associate-Director in the Compliance Monitoring team, you will lead the team and report directly to the Head AML Transaction Monitoring - Vice-Director.

Aufgaben

Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team, including task coordination, performance management, and professional development of team members
Oversee compliance and AML reviews of crypto currency transfers, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher-risk transactions
Oversee compliance and AML reviews of cash, securities and crypto currency transfers made by Financial Institutions, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher-risk transactions
Supervise the handling of sanctions alerts, providing escalation and final validation as needed
Supervise the investigation on potentially suspicious clients
Drive the optimization of internal procedures, including drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and guidelines
Represent Compliance in key regulatory and strategic projects, ensuring the monitoring function is embedded in business initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and front-line teams, offering clear and pragmatic compliance guidance
Foster a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization
Promote collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members
Address potential conflicts among team members to senior management and/or HR Partner
Support employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities
Lead the recruitment process with Talent Acquisition Partner
Ensure new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles
Set performance expectations, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address performance issues
Conduct underperformance process with the help of Senior Management and HR Partner

Profil

University degree in Law, Economics, or related field
Certification in Compliance Management (strong asset)
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Compliance function within the financial industry
Proven leadership and team management skills
Fluent in English and French
German (strong asset)
Strong analytical mindset and structured, methodical approach
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Collaborative leader, comfortable working in multicultural, dynamic, and tech-driven environment
