CAD Designer / Product Designer – Focus on Jewellery Design | Zurich CH

• Create precise 3D models based on sketches, reference images, technical specifications or client ideas
• Develop and refine jewellery pieces and individual client projects in CAD
• Technically optimise models for 3D printing, casting, assembly and subsequent production stages
• Adapt and further develop existing CAD models
• Review wall thicknesses, proportions, fittings and technical feasibility
• Work closely with goldsmithing, casting, stone-setting and production teams
• Support projects from initial CAD construction through to finished jewellery piece
• Contribute to further development of digital processes and quality standards

• Education or degree in product design, jewellery design or comparable field
• Solid experience in CAD design and excellent spatial awareness
• Proficiency in Rhino 3D and MatrixGold
• Precise, structured and quality-focused approach to work
• Strong technical understanding and ability to develop designs that are visually convincing and suitable for production
• Motivation to solve demanding tasks independently and take responsibility
• Openness to new technologies, materials and production methods
• Experience in jewellery design/construction and knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign or comparable applications (advantage, not required)
• Training or practical experience as goldsmith, product designer, technical drafter, CAD designer or comparable profession (welcome)

• Workload: 60–100%
• Location: Horgen, Zurich
