SUHNER is a globally active technology company specializing in tailored solutions for the metalworking industry. To strengthen and develop our European market presence, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Europe – Tool Holders to expand our distribution network and strengthen partnerships with machine tool manufacturers and distributors.

Aufgaben

Managing and developing relationships with distributors, OEM partners, and key end customers across Europe, acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor
Actively acquiring and developing new distribution partners and strategic customers in the European market
Supporting the implementation of SUHNER's OEM strategy with initial focus on strengthening partnerships with existing OEM platforms and their distribution networks
Providing technical sales support to distributors and customers, including quotations, application discussions, and technical requirement clarifications
Training and enabling distributor sales teams to build technical knowledge and independence in promoting and selling SUHNER solutions
Ensuring strong product visibility by supporting showroom installations, open houses, exhibitions, and customer events with distributors and OEM partners
Managing project quotations and supporting the entire sales process from opportunity identification to order closure
Monitoring market developments and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decisions

Profil

Technical background in mechanical engineering, machining, or manufacturing technology combined with commercial experience
Proven experience in technical sales within the machining, cutting tools, or toolholder industry
Experience working with machine tool manufacturers, distributors, or industrial end users in the metalworking sector
Strong ability to explain technical solutions and support partners in developing application-based opportunities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluent English and German; Italian or French an advantage
Confident use of MS Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) beneficial
High level of independence, initiative, and willingness to travel internationally (50%-60%)

Location: Switzerland with international travel
International travel commitment: 50%-60%
