As an Associate-Director in the Compliance department, you will lead one of the Monitoring teams, reporting directly to the Head AML Transaction Monitoring - Vice-Director.

Aufgaben

Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team, including task coordination, performance management, and professional development of team members
Oversee compliance and AML reviews of cryptocurrency transfers, ensuring timely and accurate analysis of higher-risk transactions
Oversee compliance and AML reviews of cash, securities and cryptocurrency transfers made by Financial Institutions
Supervise the handling of sanctions alerts, providing escalation and final validation as needed
Supervise investigations on potentially suspicious clients
Drive the optimization of internal procedures, including drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and guidelines
Represent Compliance in key regulatory and strategic projects, ensuring the monitoring function is embedded in business initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and front-line teams, offering compliance guidance
Foster a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and organization
Promote collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members
Support employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities
Lead the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner
Ensure new hires are properly introduced to the team, organization, culture, policies, and their specific roles
Set performance expectations, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address performance issues

Profil

University degree in Law, Economics, or a related field (Compliance Management certification is a strong asset)
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a Compliance function within the financial industry, with proven leadership and team management skills
Fluent in English and French; German is a strong asset
Strong analytical mindset and structured, methodical approach
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Collaborative leader, comfortable working in a multicultural, dynamic, and tech-driven environment
