Assist U.S. citizens in Switzerland and Liechtenstein with mental health or medical issues, homelessness, destitution, or crime victimization
Liaise with local authorities, law enforcement, funeral homes, and prisons
Communicate complex and sensitive information to U.S. citizens and their families
Provide guidance to individuals in highly distressed states and connect with social service resources
Handle death cases and process Consular Reports of Death
Assist with family and child custody matters
Provide voting assistance and maintain precise record keeping
Maintain and continuously expand an extensive network of contacts for citizen safety and protection
Organize networking events including luncheons, roundtables, receptions, outreach trips, and town halls
Prepare notarial services and assist with passport and citizenship services
Assist in crisis management team and crisis preparedness and response
Efficiently self-manage multiple duties and responsibilities

Location: Bern, Switzerland (serving Switzerland and Liechtenstein)
Reports to: ACS Locally Employed Staff Supervisor
