Our client is a globally recognised energy company seeking an experienced commercial professional to help shape future market expansion, strategic partnerships and value creation initiatives across international markets. This highly visible international role offers direct exposure to senior stakeholders, strategic growth opportunities and complex commercial transactions as an individual contributor with significant international exposure and commercial ownership.

Aufgaben

Drive international market expansion initiatives from strategic assessment through commercial execution
Identify, evaluate and engage prospective partners, operators, investors and strategic stakeholders
Develop and execute market-entry strategies across existing and new markets
Build a robust international opportunity pipeline through proactive market assessment and relationship development
Structure, negotiate and conclude complex commercial agreements and long-term partnership arrangements
Drive sustainable value creation through strategic partnerships, market-entry initiatives and transformational commercial opportunities
Partner closely with internal M&A specialists on investment and divestment assessments, transaction preparation and commercial due diligence
Assess strategic fit, commercial attractiveness and long-term value creation potential of prospective opportunities
Build and maintain long-term executive-level relationships with external partners and key stakeholders
Coordinate cross-functional and cross-cultural deal teams across multiple international markets and business functions
Monitor industry developments, competitive activity and market trends to identify future growth opportunities

Profil

Approximately 10-15+ years in strategic partnerships, market expansion, business development, licensing, corporate development, M&A or similar commercially complex and strategic environments
Proven track record of independently leading complex commercial negotiations and strategic growth initiatives
Strong understanding of value creation, partnership structures, commercial business models and market development
Experience supporting acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures or strategic transactions (highly advantageous)
Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience evaluating business cases and commercial opportunities
Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
International mindset and ability to operate successfully across multiple cultures and business environments
Commercial curiosity, entrepreneurial thinking and ability to develop long-term partnerships across diverse markets and cultures
Fluent English required; additional languages a strong advantage
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, International Management, Engineering or related discipline
MBA or postgraduate qualification considered advantageous
Equivalent professional experience with proven track record in commercial development, partnerships or transaction-related environments
Background in: Strategic Partnerships, Market Expansion, Licensing, Franchise Development, Corporate Development, M&A and Transaction Advisory, Private Equity Portfolio Companies, Energy & Consumer Services, Retail & Multi-Site Businesses, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, or Management Consulting
