For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG, we ensure that complex interactions between electronics, mechanics, firmware, and software result in seamless and reliable diagnostic products. In our HW Integration team, you will work at the critical intersection of hardware and software, serving as a guardian of system quality and primary point of contact for complex mechatronic issue analysis.

Aufgaben

Driving System Integration & Integrity: leading the physical and logical integration of hardware and software modules into a cohesive, high-performing whole
Hardware Parametrization & Firmware Interaction: defining critical parameters, configuring and programming test software, parameterizing firmware and software to optimize performance
Proactive Robustness & Endurance Testing: designing advanced electromechanical test setups, long-term endurance trials, and lifetime reliability tests targeting MTBF and MTBRV metrics
Transforming Data into Insight: supervising parameters, tracking hardware counters, and analyzing complex data logs to turn raw observations into actionable improvements
Collaborative Troubleshooting & Root-Cause Analysis: owning the journey from first discovery to resolution, performing deep-dive troubleshooting across electronics, mechanics, firmware and software teams
Bridge-Building across R&D and Operations: serving as key technical partner ensuring smooth transfer of validated mechatronic designs to global manufacturing and service partners

Profil

BSc/MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline
5 years hands-on experience in HW/SW integration, unit- and system-level testing, or mechatronic troubleshooting
Deep understanding of mechatronics (physical interplay between mechanics and electronics) and interaction with firmware and software
Experience in scripting or programming for test execution and automation
Comfort and experience working in a Linux environment
Experience in a regulated environment (MedTech, Diagnostics, IVD, or GxP) is a strong advantage
Curious investigator interested in complex systems and emerging technologies; eager to explore AI-assisted tools for hardware testing and data analysis
Works precisely and persistently, communicating technical findings with empathy and clarity
Fluency in English required; German is a great advantage for local collaboration
